Maybe I missed that part, but what's the "problem" between Hana and Tora? I don't understand why she's doing all this. At first I thought it was simply to "make Tora move forward", however, I realized that it wasn't, even more so after Sensei heard from him that he was fired in the other world after Tora's "delation". In my head, it doesn't make much sense.

Really outdone yourself with this newest update, incredible how so many really highly emotional plot lines can happen at the same time and yet each get their own time to shine and still retain all of the raw emotion in them. Excited for wherever this story takes us next!
Hello everyone... I have some doubts. First: After the dialogue between Sensei and Zena, in the hotel room, Sensei is walking around the resort and "hears" Eruka say: "Gasp! Monsieur! Over here!". After that I am taken to the home screen. This is normal? Second: Has the gallery been reset?
I have the same problem with returning to the home screen exactly that moment - must be a bug right? The gallery is fine though. I'm still running version 12.
I made this account specifically to tell you the issue; what happened was that Persona's accidentally released some 0.13 events (anything past the park event with Sora) in the 0.12 update. So the reason you are cut to the main menu is because those events are not meant to be there, and, therefore, weren't coded to have a proper transition from the game to the main menu. Hope this clears things up!
I don't doubt that this could have actually happened, although I think it's a grotesque mistake, and I want to believe it wasn't made. Well anyway, thanks for the clarification.
As of 0.12, and from here on spoilers for anyone reading, the only 2 charactrs with missable events are Hana and Tami. For Tami, if you reject her at the blind date thing and then again when she tries to confirm, you miss one event. For Hana, if you choose "forgive and forget" at the spa event, you'll miss pretty much all her events, except like 2. "I need someting from you" will eventually reasult in a more... dynamic relationship.
As for the other events, there's an in game guide that imo is pretty good at informing you without outright giving you the answer. Just click "toggle hints" on the events menu and turn them on. It's the same with all the characters. If you've already fulfilled all the requests for an event, explore a bit. Maybe they'll trigger on their own on a certain day of the week, or maybe a special interaction will appear that wasn't there before
This game is often compared to LiL, but I think it has what that game desperately lacks: an actually likable protagonist. Everythin about Sensei just pisses me off to no extent, to the point where it makes it hard to play. Janu, on the other hand, is great. He feels more human and less edgy. As for the latest version, what a great update, mate. That last event is just amazing. I'm really curious to see what'll happen with A**u in the future, she has so much potential. Keep up the good work, as always
Ren'Py has a limit of 2 GB for its Android package builds. Some authors do workarounds, like separating the game across multiple downloadable versions (where save files at the end of the first release will load into the second release), or releasing a version with heavily compressed assets (leading to visual quality loss and sometimes just getting rid of music altogether), but many don't bother.
I like the game, I do, but damn I wish there were choices to be made more. I'm just clicking constantly though paragraph over paragraph. I want to make choices and make meaningful decisions to change how my story evolves!
Go to download the new update 0.12.0 and it brings up that it is a txt document when I click on download for the window/linux and the file says please read me

I like the new interface changes as well, but was wondering if there might be plans to enhance it further with the following:
Universal toggle for hints (instead of having to toggle it for each events section/character)
More specific hints (eg. location/time/day to trigger)
Hints for Light/Dream events
As much as I like the game, sometimes it's a bit tedious to find events through process of elimination or having to go to an external wiki, so these enhancements would make the game a lot more enjoyable for me.
I agree having to go through everything is tedious and annoying especially light/dream events makes it a much less enjoyable experience to the point where sometimes I just stop playing until I find the solution somewhere same with chinakas riddles feel like some of them don't quite make sense especially last one I was on with 3 letter palindrome .
so, just an FYI for Pers0nas, during the Chinaka riddles, on the first, i answered correctly. however, it was marked as wrong because it wasn't clear that it needed the qualifier first. generally, just the noun is required for that answer.
not sure if its intended to irritate your players, or if its a limit to the coding possible in renpy. just figured you'd be interested in knowing. and if i may suggest, it might not be a bad idea to make all answers multiple choice, or allow for alternative answers (such as "name" as opposed to "your name").
I havent played this yet, mostly due to the sensei (i assume) looking like a tall 8 year old. Childish looking head/face. Hear good reviews, maybe ill be able to look past it.

I have completed all the main event and went on a date with Eruka, after choosing what to do (hope you know what I'm trying to say without spoilers...) is there anything else left to do or is the game completed for now? I have tried every thing on every day going back to my choices of the day but nothing seems to work. The only thing a little weird is that if i try to call Eruka in the evening instead of rolling back to the "what to do" selection menu of Saturday/Sunday it just goes forward to the next day. My version is the public 0.11.0 bu i have been playing since the 0.9.0 if i remember
Thanks for mentioning that bug, and if you don't see any events that aren't crossed out, then that means you've done everything for that current version of the game.
I know. The Renpy version I use doesn't allow me to make android builds that are bigger than 2gb. If you want to play Sensei Overnight on your phone, you can download the PC version and emulate it via the Joiplay app.
Love this game so far, but I'm pretty hung up here I guess. I'm trying to trigger Nirima's "technophobes" where I'm supposed to just visit the dorm common room during the week. I've tried doing that, talking to each person there every day, including Sora and Roni outside, but it won't trigger the event. The only other one that I can see that's holding things up is Nokana's "the tardis law", which just shows "???" for the trigger. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
I've only done chapter 1. But my rating of the girls so far. The first four in B rank will all probably rank higher for me later but they haven't had enough appearances for me to rank properly yet (though I have already put Ryu in A despite her only appearing once so far). Nirima's in a similar boat even though she's been in the game since the start, her events have been pretty basic so far but I think I'll like her more once she gets a bit more fleshed out. I honestly do like Kio, Hana, and Dayai plenty too. Honestly, the only characters that I feel 100% sure on their position are the top 3 and bottom 3.
What is the answer to Chinaka's riddle ' What can you hold in your left hand, but not in your right?' I have googled the answer and tried your right elbow, right elbow and she tells me I'm wrong with both answers yet that is clearly the correct answer on google
Hmm, yes I agree. Though I think not being able to hold your right hand with your right hand is sort of up for debate depending on how you define holding.
Not sure if this is just happening to me or if its meant to be doing this, but does anyone know why the laptop screen remains blank whilst Spudge and Dice are typing during both of their events in 0.10.0? Its basically making the events unplayable because I'm missing huge portions of said events, and Sensei's responses don't give me enough to even guess at half of it.
Tried going back to earlier spudge and dice events and its only the new ones that seem to be having this with (though didn't test them all). Also tried redownloading game but same issue.
Ah, thanks. Don't generally look too close at changelogs apart from to see who new events are for, so missed that. And since I leave volumes at renpy's default, the music was drowning out the text to speech stuff.
A quick question. Is the basketball preview image bugged or broken? I noticed while looking through the images it was skipped, so I closed out the close ups and clicked it on it directly. The attached image is what happened then. I waited for about a minute and it still would not load.

I think that might just be a problem with Koikatsu, usually males in these look kinda off

I literally had to go into the script files to find it. It's "my right hand" or "your right hand."

I said in the latest devlog that Spudge and Dice use text-to-speech now, which uses the sound volume channel in Renpy.

No Rest plays sequencially at the end of the summer festival. It's not possible for you to be stuck there.
